Requirements:   The intern shall commit no more than 15 hours per week working from home and communicating with the team primarily through email and phone.

Junior/Senior in college or recent graduate with administrative experience Interest in Social Entrepreneurship and prior experience with nonprofit organizations Must be self-motivated, a quick learner and loves to take initiative Excellent organizational, written and oral communications skills Can work independently and collaborates well with others Analytical, detail oriented and possess exceptional follow through Proficient in Microsoft applications specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Familiarity with Web 2.0 applications like Facebook, Myspace, Ning and other social networking/bookmarking sites Spanish or French speaking ability a plus

Description:   Description The Executive Assistant will handle a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be well organized, reliable, flexible and eager to work in an administrative capacity supporting a small but diverse staff and volunteers. The ability to interact with different audiences, meet deadlines, be proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role. Strong follow-through and decision making ability are equally important.

Duties and Responsibilities " Collaborate with the Executive Director to set and achieve strategic goals and objectives " Draft, prepare, distribute and follow-up with email correspondence " Responsible for calendar management of ED and organizational related events " Handle incoming and outgoing email for LnP's main email address and direct to appropriate staff promptly and efficiently " Assist staff and other interns with preparation of presentation materials " Review and summarize miscellaneous reports and documents " Manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through in a timely manner " Attend (virtually) weekly progress report conference calls " Work closely with the staff to coordinate and launch new programs " Special projects may be assigned
